Midwinter Night’s Dream Winter Wedding

With winter in full swing it is time to take celebrations indoors. With the golden warmth of a lit fire, rich colours, bold textures and indulgent eats, moody winter weddings are the epitome of romance. Emma Frost and Jessica Ellis form Supernatural Floral Design Studio dreamed up this intimate feast. They set the scene for the moments as the bridal couple retreats inside to relax and reflect on the day that has passed.
The sun is going down, a fire’s been lit and candles are dotted around the room. The last of the meal’s debris is still on the table, almost-empty coffee and wine glasses, fine sprinklings of icing sugar, nibbled stewed pears, lip-stained napkins and an uneaten raspberry pie the couple share in front of the fireplace. Bruce and Rebecca from Love Made Visible were the flies on the wall who captured this intimate occasion.

The team from Supernatural Floral Design Studio is giving away blooms to the value of R 1500. One reader can win the following:
1 bridal bouquet
2 bridesmaid bouquets 3 buttonholes 1 for the groom and 2 groomsmen
2 wrist corsages for mums
2 buttonholes for dads
1 floral element for the flower girl/ring bearer
