Floral Sensations for Bridal Inspiration at House of Krone

We’re once again astounded by Adene Nieuwoudt (from Adene Photography) and Anli Wahl’s latest secret shoot. This floral themed shoot forms part of her Secret Shoot collection, and has some great ideas for brides to be. The shoot was done in a forest near House of Krone, in Tulbagh. Adene decided to use orange, coral, purple, pink, bright green colours to create a floral print sensation.

The inspiration for the shoot

Alana van Heerden (designer) has always wanted to print her own design on a dress. This was her chance to test the waters. Because the coming season is all about bright, bold prints mixed with floral; she designed a floral drawing in the chosen colour scheme for the shoot and had it printed on an off-white satin dress. This formed the central theme for the shoot and everything else revolved around that print. Lisa Brown kept the make-up and hair quite natural, because the rest was already bold and bright.

Recreate this at home

The first step in recreating this shoot at home, is to find a floral design that you like, and then to have it printed on a dress. If possible, use a graphic designer to help you out. For the shoot, you can use decor, flowers and stationery to add your own touches to the look.
