What to Pack: Paris

What to Pack: Paris {Travel Fashion}

While it may be cold and dreary here in South Africa, Europe is heading into summer, making it a great destination for winter newlyweds. And what better place to celebrate your honeymoon than the city of love!

Paris is the most visited city in the world, attracting more than 15 million visitors to its beautiful streets every year. But as a result it’s safe to say the locals know a tourist when they see one. Today’s “What to Pack” will have you looking chic and comfortable, two important things when traversing the most stylish city in the world.

For the cooler days that still abound throughout springtime in Paris, bring a striped long-sleeve tee and a pair of tailored jeans. For your feet you can’t go wrong with some classic flats. Ballet pumps are a Parisian favorite and make for suprisingly comfortable walking shoes.

For warmer days bring a flattering sundress that can work for a day at Versailles or dinner on the Left Bank. Navy is a great option that can easily be styled for day or night.

No colour pairs better with navy than red and Paris is the one place you can get away with red lipstick during the day. Indulge in your favorite bright hue throughout your trip.

Finishing touches for your Parisian look should include a carry-all tote for maps, water and souvenirs, as well as a coordinating scarf.
