We’re all about finding fun hangouts for our weekly after-work drinks here at The Pretty Blog and although this is more of a weekend outing for us – as we’re located in the heart of the winelands – this is still a favourite Salt River hangout! Devil’s Peak Brewery and its rustic eatery, The Taproom, is a must visit when you’re next in the area. As the name suggests, they craft their own beer, cook up some delicious bites to eat and pair these for a great experience.
What makes The Taproom worth a visit?
With beautiful views of Table Mountain, The Taproom sources fresh local produce to create a wide range of dishes. Popular menu items include the unique cheese burger and legendary pulled pork sandwich, each designed to enhance any beer drinking experience. Don’t fear though, they also have a wide range of wines and other hand-crafted liquors available if beer isn’t at the top of your drinks list. We love their simple, eclectic decor and great food which is a winning combination for a relaxed weekend afternoon or after-work drinks!
