Robyn Roberts is one of the familiar faces of South African bridal design, and we have featured many, many of her actual brides here on The Pretty Blog. Together with in-house designer Michelle Ronné, the duo creates custom-made, beautifully handcrafted wedding dresses to measure. There is certainly something for everyone, as they also offer a more affordable range of ready-to-wear wedding dresses that brides can either hire or buy with beautiful bridal accessories, from veils to shoes, to match. Should you opt for a Robyn Roberts gown, happily bring along your bridal party and mother, as Robyn Roberts can cater for them too.

The next two weeks will be filled with fabulous giveaways to celebrate the new categories on the blog, and we start with Robyn Roberts Bridal & Evening Wear. They are giving away a wedding dress to the value of R12 000. This can either be a dress from their ready-to-wear range, or you can have a dress custom made. R12 000 will cover the full cost of a ready-to-wear dress, but should you wish to have a dress made instead, they will deduct R12 000 from the cost of the dress, should your choice of dress be more elaborate.

Celebrate Easter with Poetry

With the sweet smell of cinnamon and hot cross buns filling our homes, the slight chill in the air and falling of leaves indicating the change of seasons, we know that it’s almost time to celebrate Easter. We specially dedicated the month of April to the wonder of new life, focusing on stories that captures the warmth and essence of family life, and of course the indulgence and festivities centred around Easter.
