Last Wednesday Christine and I had the privilege of attending the most amazing year-end celebration. The party was hosted by Absolute Weddings & Events in collaboration with the breathtakingly beautiful Molenvliet Wine and Guest Estate. Only a hundred fortunate guests from the wedding industry attended this unforgettable event. Everything was planned meticulously so that we could enjoy the evening, from the fresh lemonade, survival kit, hand sanitisers and iced towels on arrival, to the late-night snacks and entertainment!While sipping on Graham Beck Bubbly, we were served fresh oysters by The Oyster King. The Oyster King, dressed in maritime gear, moved among the guests, shucking and serving tasty oysters. Mario from Black Pig’s artisan charcuterie was also a big hit. Mario sliced his beautiful meats into thin slices and served it on freshly baked bread. His salami and coppa ham was to die for.

and Kanyacilla Hunt prepared the beautiful sweet treats. We were swooning over Wade’s GORGEOUS dessert table, which included meringue towers, tiny lemon meringues, snowflake cookies and shortbread to name just a few. (Christine and I both had two lemon meringues, they were so delicious).
