A wedding in Tuscany is probably one of the most visually romantic settings you can wish for. Angelika and Artur, both photographers, have known each other since childhood years. Their love for one another evolved from becoming best friends, to dating a few years later and eventually to tying the knot on a hot summer’s day in Italy. They envisioned a happy, intimate and Mediterranean celebration
with friends and family and that is exactly what the day had in store. A 1920s inspired theme in soft hues was subtlety incorporated into the decorative elements, bridal attire and the statement bridal veil.  In our opinion this all harmoniously complemented the exterior surroundings of the venue. Carmen & Ingo Photography took these dreamy wedding pictures.

Their Story

We’ve known each other since childhood. About nine years ago we became best friends, and three years later we became lovers. On Christmas night 2011 he proposed to me at our ‘special’ place.

What were the highlights of your wedding day?

The whole day was a highlight for us! But to name a few, the relaxed days before the wedding in Italy with our closest friends, the moment when I walked down the aisle with my dad and saw all the happy faces from our guests and my handsome groom smiling at me, made me burst into tears. Also, the magic mood in the olive groves where Carmen & Ingo, our wedding photographers, captured moments of our special day.

Where did you get most of your ideas and inspiration from?

As wedding photographers, we see so many weddings and know so many wedding blogs, so it was not difficult to plan our own wedding. We got ideas from The Pretty Blogetsygreen wedding shoes andFräulein k sagt ja.
