In order to download,
you need a free My Pretty Things account.

This is a super cute, easy to assemble and cost-effective save the date for all you soon-to-be-brides out there. I used some photos of my own engagement shoot, way back in 2010, taken by the super talented Charmaine Spangenberg.
This is something to have fun with while adding lots of personal touches. The sky’s the limit.

What you will need

  • scissors
  • colour printer
  • glue
  • paper stock (any colour you prefer)
  • ribbon
  • your photo

  • Step 1

Make sure you’ve got Adobe Reader installed on your computer. I’ve created a PDF that you guys can edit with the needed information. I used “Another Typewriter“, but feel free to use whatever typeface you like. If you’ve been blessed with pretty handwriting, you should try writing it all out by hand – it will look just as stunning.
  • Step 2

Print out the save the date on any nice paper you can find.
  • Step 3

Score the card along the dotted lines and cut out along the solid lines, making sure you don’t forget to cut out the half circle.
  • Step 4

Place your photo in the middle fastening it with photo corners. I used jumbo sized photos (10 x 15 cm), but anything smaller will also do.
  • Step 5

Now all you have to do is prettify it with some ribbon, add some detail and have fun.

    Hello Susan!

Would you be able to help me edit this save the date card? I wanted to make it a little less DIY and have a folded card in 2 instead of 3 folds and the half circle cut out.

I appreciate all of your help!

    Thanks,

    Jessica

I love this and so does my future daughter in law but it will not let me save it to print it. Can you offer any help.

    thanks

Elaine & Bryan, A Summer Countryside Celebration

A blind date has the potential to be much more than an awkward evening. For Elaine and Bryan it surely became more. Little did they know, that a blind date would become a refreshing summer’s day in the countryside to celebrate with 84 friends.I am excited to see that a vintage and rustic atmosphere can be so completely natural. It resonates fully with the love of the outdoors that this merry couple have. With the help of Brightgirl Photography, I’m happy to share the start of a beautiful journey from Nottingham Road in the Natal Midlands.
