Stephan and Annemarie’s mutual love for music was the catalyst for a blossoming relationship that peaked into full bloom under the Jacaranda trees of Pretoria as they tied the knot in October last year. Annemarie looked dashing in a softly draped gown and alluring birdcage veil as a glowing groom was awaiting her arrival at the other end of the aisle.

We end this busy week with this sweet DIY wedding snapped by the team from Kikitography. The lovely Lourens and Ilze took the trip down the aisle on a sunny summer’s day in November last year at the beautiful Klipskuur in Heidelberg.
I have seen some great locations for weddings, but I can’t think of a more magical setting to tie the knot, than this romantic cave that David and Emily chose for their big day. The happy couple got married in August last year at the Willowbrook Amphitheater close to Denver, in the US.
If you find yourself wishing that you were born in a different era, surrounded by the glitz and splendour of old Hollywood, then today’s wedding is for you. It’s a glamorous affair complete with furs, red lips, a long and beautifully decorated table and a smart, shiny car.
Henri and Dedé’s wedding is right up my alley. The long tables decorated with wooden boards, herbs, textured runners, beautiful designed stationery and clean lines are so refreshing, and an absolute feast for the eye. Dedé chose a natural berry red to add to the layers of earthy whites to create simple, yet warm look.
Jamie and Sarah said their vows on a perfect spring day in the beautiful Karoo. They wanted an honest and natural celebration to go with the peaceful, raw surroundings of Prince Albert. Sarah says their wedding was one big DIY project.
