Welovepictures recently travelled all the way to the little farming town of Malelane in Mpumalanga, 80km from the Mozambican border, to capture the very special wedding of Cheska and Human. Being welcomed with open arms, guests not only enjoyed a spectacular ‘safari wedding’ but also had genuine close encounters with buffaloes, elephants and other wildlife surrounding the family farm.
After a very romantic and unexpected proposal, Danie and Lené shared their wedding day with friends and family at the picturesque Backsberg Wine Estate. This pretty blue-eyed red head caught our attention with her understated yet tasteful sense of style, wearing a tailored dress that was so unique, simple and delicate.
The wedding of Pieter and Esmari is without a doubt one of the most original and authentically innovative celebrations. The couple met during their school years and reconnected many years later during Esmari’s community year in Mpumalanga. For Pieter, this meant some long distance flights to Johannesburg and a 4 hour drive, which in due course, led to a romantic proposal on their farm in Greyton. Needless to say, only 3 months later they celebrated their wedding on the exact same spot.
This is a couple that caught our attention with their spontaneous, creative and fun wedding. A marriage of maverick and vintage – we love it when a couple’s unique personality and style is clearly evident at their wedding.
From a dodgy pub to wedding bells, this is a celebration of note. James & Bianca said “I do’’ in the idyllic setting of Bramon Wines. The ever enthusiastic Bianca embraced multiple D.I.Y projects from popcorn confetti tubs to creative signs, not to mention the intricate attention to pinstripe detail.
What happens when two people, destined to be together, dwell in the parameter of an SA university only to meet officially 4 years later in London? A fusion of sparks, chemistry and enduring love. It was only a matter of timing before the petite and utterly charming Betty and her fiancé Jimmy blissfully tied the knot.
