My new business partner, Francille van Tiddens, recently sent me a recipe for ricotta gnudi via Bon Appetit’s online magazine. I’ll reveal more about our exciting new venture soon – Francille is an absolute food fanatic and she is constantly trawling the international online food scene for great recipes and interesting reads. “Gnudi”? I asked. It’s like gnocchi, she said, but larger, and made with lots and lots of ricotta cheese.

The Pretty Blog made its TV debut this week on The Expresso Show. Christine and I had to come up with a tablescape for their Valentine’s day show.
We had the honour of being in The Expresso Show this morning . Christine and I had to set a Valentine’s table. We opted for a rustic, informal Italian inspired look. In the spirit of Valentine’s day we are sharing the stationery that we used on our table.
