If you grew up in South Africa you will know what a bazaar is. If not, it ‘s a little bit like a carnival. It always includes lucky packets, home made sweets, ginger beer and baked treats, as well as fun games for the children.
With many year end functions and Christmas parties already underway, I thought it was about time I shared this little project I’ve been working on. Inspired by Kate Spade’s Fiona shoes that came out last Christmas (brightly coloured pumps adorned with a present style bow) and the latest series of Ban.Do shoe clips, I turned my plain suede pumps into something a little more festive!
We received this gorgeous inspiration board from Elsje Design last week, and we just had to share it. Yup, nautical stripes are back! Be sure to incorporate this hot new trend in your wedding décor.
So here’s all the French prettiness, as promised. I just love all things French! From the wine, the food, fashion, perfume to the architecture and the language. So if like me, you have a passion for all things French, why not have it as your wedding theme. The French also have many wedding traditions that you can incorporate into the ceremony. Then kick of the festivities by sabering a bottle of champagne. Also make sure to include some French dishes into the menu! And finally, don’t forget the music and the boules et voilà c’est une fête!
