T-Bone Walker calls it “Stormy Monday”. And yes,most Mondays feels kind of stormy to me. But there’s always a beautiful real wedding to brighten my day. The answers of the brides and grooms always puts a smile on my face. And today’s sweet wedding is no exception.

I simply can’t get enough of “backyard style” weddings. You know those wedding that has the vibe of a good old family get together. It’s a big hearted affair, where both grandma’s crochet work and auntie-in-laws vintage tins fits right in.
By now you are familiar with the wonderful work of styling duo Cornelia and Judy from De Liefde. And you know that we go week at the knees whenever we get a glimpse of their creations. Today we share a beautiful shoot they styled for Plush Props, Cape Town’s newest hiring shop and food studio.
I had the honour of attending my friends Ryan and Jeani’s wedding in September. It was one of the most wonderful weddings I’ve ever been to.
I love backyard weddings. I think getting married at a place that has special meaning, makes the big day even more special. Matt and Mary-Anne had the wonderful privilege of celebrating their big day at the home where Mary-Anne grew up.
