Photographer Lara Scott recently sent over this shoot . I thought the colour combination was quite interesting, so I turned it into an Inspiration Board. I think this colour scheme with it’s natural hues would be perfect for a rustic beach wedding. I’m thinking driftwood, washed out shells and sand.
I received an email from Kate, one of our readers, a while ago. She needed help with her colour scheme. Kate already chose green as one of her colours for her wedding, but she didn’t know what other colour to use with it.
This is the inspiration board for the second shoot that (our very own) Christine Meintjes did in collaboration with Flowers in the Foyer, Elsje Design and Kanyacilla Hunt. A few months ago these creative girls decided to do a series of shoots, with four different themes (The first shoot had a botanical theme) . They came up with this idea because they wanted to experiment with new ideas and themes, and the result is just so inspiring.
Red is the colour of passion and love, but you’re probably skeptical about using it for your wedding, and rightfully so. Red can be quite a bold colour, and you don’t want your wedding to look like a Valentine’s Day or Christmas party?! However, if you use the right shade of red and combine it with another colour, like this lively light blue, it can be such a fun colour scheme. Think red lips, red berries and red shoes!
