Spring has sprung here in South Africa and Summer is rapidly on its way. What better way to celebrate this season, than having your house filled with fresh flowers displayed in interesting and new ways. Turn waste items into beautiful vases or give new meaning to grandma’s tea cosy – all so simple. Really.
The great thing about the blog is that we get to meet so many creative and wonderful people. One such person is florist Elmarie from el LEFLEUR in Somerset West. She is extremely passionate about what she does, and speaking to her you soon realise she eats, sleeps and drink flowers.
Growing Paper “is handmade paper with a twist”. The paper is made with post consumer waste paper, which means it is waste paper from your office or home. So here’s the twist, the paper is embedded with seeds. So the idea is to plant the paper that will grow into pretty flowers or herbs! Growing Paper’s products are all environmentally responsible. Furthermore, all the parts of the product that cannot be planted is either biodegradable of recyclable.
