When the formidable Izette, owner of Landtscap and Leipzig, told me about her idea to create table decor ideas using the “ugly ducklings” of the colour world, I was all ears. I mean, how genius and refreshing is that? The creative all girls team at Landtscap and Leipzig dreamed up this series “Colours to Preserve”.

With natural elements like quail eggs as inspiration, the dynamic and creative team from Landtscap venue, dreamed up this gorgeous Easter tablescape. Instead of going for a specific colour, the focus for this look is rather on texture.
We habitually picture a high tea as either an “Alice-in-Wonderland” or pastel pretty affair, so to spice up such a popular theme, Landtscap and Leipzig came up with the idea to do an African High Tea. To get the look they chose ethnic prints, patterns, beads and bright colours.
When someone in the wedding industry ties the knot, you know it will be something special. Today’s beautiful bride Annelize works at Leipzig, one of our favourite floral design companies. She married her groom Carl on a rainy day in August at Kleinevalleij Estate in Wellington.
Last week Landtscap, a brand new venue in Stellenbosch, officially opened! We were lucky enough to attend the opening. And I have to say it’s a magical space with a breathtaking view of Stellenbosch.
