If you love books as much as I do, lending them out can sometimes be hard! In today’s DIY I’ve created a fun way to part with your beloved friends for a short while and keep track of who they are visiting with these fun, personalised DIY Library Cards.
In the words of C.S. Lewis: “You can never get a cup of tea large enough or a book long enough to suit me.”

What you will need

  • books
  • A4 sheet of sturdy paper and a black-and-white printer
  • cutting blade
  • ruler
  • pen
  • pencil
  • double-sided tape

  • Step 1

Print out the donwloadable template on your selected piece of sturdy paper or card. Cut along the solid lines and fold along the dotted lines. Attach double-sided tape to the two little flaps and join these to the back of the library pocket.
  • Step 2

Once the library pocket and card is assembled, add some double-sided tape to the back of the library pocket and insert in your selected book. Fill out your name on the front of the library pocket as well as on the card. Make sure to add the title of your book to the library card too!
  • Step 3

You can make as many of these as you want for your personal library and share the love of books with your friends. :)

Thank you so much for providing this printable! Your site is just wonderful :) Have been a book lover my whole life, and have just recently considered lending out some books – found this printable at the perfect time. Brings back the vintage vibe of having my books stamped at the library as a child (which wasn’t actually that long ago lol). Thanks again!

The Forum’s Winter Warm Scandinavian Shoot

Today we share the wondrous winter wedding shoot, conceptualised and styled by Garniche Studio in collaboration with White Kite Studios and captured by the brilliant Christine Meintjes. It’s a tale of Scandinavian wedding bliss, set against the distinctive industrial backdrop of Turbine Hall at The Forum. We simply adore the abundance of textures, intricately styled decor and the style in which all these elements melt into warm, rich hues of burgundy, gold, dark brown and eucalyptus green.
