DIY Christmas Crackers

November 29, 2012 by post tags

What better way to dress up your Christmas table & give your guests a little treat than with a few crackers! To make things easy – most of these items for today’s DIY should already be in your home.

Step 1: What you need:

  1. Recycled toilet roll inners – 1 per cracker
  2. Treats to stuff the crackers
  3. Napkins – 1 per cracker
  4. Ribbon
  5. A name tag for each guest (optional) as placeholders

Step 2: Stuff, roll & tie

Stuff your toilet roll with a selection of treats, roll up in the napkin and tie both ends of napkin on either side so it resembles a cracker. Add a name tag to customise for each guest if you like – I’ve used a selection from the Blankspace Xmas Range.

Step 3: Set your table

Set your table & enjoy the celebrations! :)

You can also get the inner parts that make the BANG! from craft shops to make them extra fun

Girly pink pony party

On the 1st of March, Milla was showered with love from friends and ponies alike. It was a special occasion to celebrate her 8th birthday and I can see in the sweetly happy smiles of the girls, the ponies (pink and real) were as much a part of the fun as the girls themselves. Although mother Theunette Heinlein has her own events company, she couldn’t have created the lovely day without Milla’s great love for horses and intuitive knack for matching vintage teal and pink. It gave the pony party a unique atmosphere that the girls adored.
