Oh, it is such an existing time of year! Yes, Bony M is blaring and the rush is on, while the prices hike sky high and the smell of mince pies follow you wherever you go. BUT also, love and goodwill is in the air as families gather and loved ones draw nearer. I love it!

Christmas time reminds me of hot sandy days at the beach, braais and the extra long days that never seem to end in the Cape. Childhood memories are filled with nighttime next to a whirring fan and the smell of insect repellent. Let’s face it, “let it snow” just doesn’t ring true to our South African idea of Christmas!

So today Seven Swans wish to celebrate our unique (and lovely!) Summer Christmas with bright and cheery wrapping paper and matching gift tags. We have created the sets both in English and Afrikaans, so make sure you download the correct PDF!

Have Fun!

Fred & Max Shop Tour

It’s amazing how the heritage of our grandfathers and grandmothers continues to inspire us in the many things we create to this day. For owners Jurgen Neubert and Fourie Pretorius the inspiration turned into a truly special Furniture and Apparel Eatery named after their grandfathers, Fred & Max. The Lion and the Lady joined us for a walk and we peeked into this history and novelty rich atmosphere in the heart of Somerset West, at the Fairview Centre.
