It’s such a cliché to say the year flew past, but seriously it feels like I’ve been on fast forward since June. I’ll be spending Christmas with my family in Newcastle and will be back for the new year in Langebaan. We’re thinking of hosting a New Year’s gathering with a few friends, which I’m extremely excited about. I want to create an exciting celebratory feel, without going over-the-top or having too much waste.
Printed table runners are such a life saver. They immediately add a bit of extra detail, and can be used over and over again. Also they are not that expensive, especially if you print them in grayscale. I’ve sprinkled festive confetti onto my table runner to add that extra sparkle, which we all love.
What you will need
- A0 Paper
- A printer that can print on big scale
Step 1Print your table runner on a A0 paper. I’ve created a file with 3 table runners, so you don’t waste any paper printing them. If you struggle finding a printer that prints on big scale, try finding out where local architects print their house plans.
Step 2Cut them out along the lines. Ta-Da – easy New Year decor in a flash.
