Christmas was everything we hoped it to be (and Seven Swans truly hope you and your loved ones had a superly blessed day filled with lots of yummies, great company and a few pressies!), and now the next big event on our calendar is New Year’s Eve!
Even if you find changing a light bulb challenging, you can still try our DIY’s. They are not just easy, but also super cute and will add that personal touch that turns your house into a home.
As children, we always spent the days following Christmas lounging around the pool. Thinking back at this carefree time it conjures up memories of bright

Traditionally my family has mainly celebrated Christmas Eve – usually an intimate dinner with our very small family. We love opening gifts under the sparkling tree and its rarely been a big affair. I love baking, and this year I’m going to make some of my gifts rather than buy them. We see many friends and family members over the festive season, but there’s no way that we can buy every single one a gift. So I would rather make something pretty that everyone, even children, can enjoy.
We received another beautiful newsletter earlier this week, this time form Leipzig Floral Design. Like I mentioned yesterday, I just love it when beautiful things land in my inbox! The girls at Leipzig made the most beautiful inspiration boards using the images they found on 100 Layer Cake.
