On this freezing cold day here in Stellenbosch, Petro and Pieter’s heartwarming wedding seems to be just what the doctor ordered! The gorgeous couple, who first laid eyes on each other as first-year students, tied the knot in beautiful Greyton. We love their choice of venue, the newly renovated farm venue The Oaks Estate.

Being bid farewell post-reception for your romantic holiday is a tradition few would have the stamina to manage today. Weddings are mammoth beasts to manage and you’d be hard-pressed to find a bride eager to spend her first married day on an international flight. But sometimes weddings aren’t large-scale affairs, they’re intimate family gatherings followed by road trips up the coast, train rides to the country or weekends away in the winelands. For these newlyweds a going away outfit is still a wonderful tradition to uphold.
As much as I love bursts of colour, my heart started to flutter when I saw this wedding with all its natural tones, for the first time. Henko and Minke’s big day was a celebration filled with rustic elegance.
