If you haven’t heard of minted yet, they are a very hip, online stationery site that crowd sources all of their designs. That’s a fancy way of saying, each month they hold a challenge for a type of card and designers from all over the world enter. The end result is there is something for every aesthetic! We had the pleasure of guest judging one of their recent wedding challenges.

Self-taught chef and owner of Salvationcafé , Claudia Giannoccaro, promises to serve great quality unpretentious food “with a story to tell”. Claudia cooked her way around the world, and her globe-trotting experiences is reflected in the menu.
A wedding in Tuscany is probably one of the most visually romantic settings one can wish for. Angelika and Artur, both photographers, have known each other since childhood years. Their love for one another evolved from becoming best friends, to dating a few years later and eventually to tying the knot on a hot summer’s day in Italy.

A funky spin on ‘bridal bliss’ is the wedding celebration of Hunter and Nelia. The couple got together with close friends at Rockhaven and rocked the night away… literally. Hunter, talented guitarist of Die Heuwel Fantasties and Nelia, a gifted graphic designer and one of Pretty Blog’s much-loved stationery contributors, Nooi Stationery, joined their artistic forces for their big ‘I do’
At the end of last year my husband and I took the plunge and bought ourselves a proper coffee machine. There hasn’t been a day that I’ve regretted that choice, it has changed my life dramatically. I can now officially be labelled a coffee snob because nothing compares to bean-to-cup coffee.
The wedding of Pieter and Esmari is without a doubt one of the most original and authentically innovative celebrations. The couple met during their school years and reconnected many years later during Esmari’s community year in Mpumalanga. For Pieter, this meant some long distance flights to Johannesburg and a 4 hour drive, which in due course, led to a romantic proposal on their farm in Greyton. Needless to say, only 3 months later they celebrated their wedding on the exact same spot.
