Christmas at Yuppiechef {Giveaway}

December 5, 2011 by post tags
Holidays are upon us and over at Yuppiechef, we are preparing the way for holiday kitchens across Mzanzi. Lazy summer days, balmy evenings, beach picnics, good food, laughter, family and friends – the countdown begins. Whether you’re planning a traditional white Christmas meal or a southern hemisphere style celebration, there will be eating and there will be cooking, and we’ve got fabulous tools, recipes and idea to get you inspired – from stocking and cracker filler inspiration and crayfish on the Weber to blackpepper and strawberry salad and gin and tonic sorbet, we’re all over it like the sunshine on the sea.
The end of the year is our busiest season with Christmas shoppers wandering merrily through our online aisles, and we have a few fabulously festive things up our sleeve for all of you folk:
  • All purchases get the usual Yuppiechef royal treatment but with a Christmas twist in the form of a limited edition Happy holidays magnet, interactive Christmas card and a copy of our first ever Spatula print magazine
  • The Yuppiechef 12 Days of Xmas campaign is upon us and on its fifth day: one email per day from 1-12 December, one great special each day, nothing more , nothing less. The Swiss Diamond pan special this morning sold out 20 minutes after the mailer went out!
  • On Spatula we’re focusing on inspiring holiday recipes, such as Rose and Kiwi Fruit ice lollies  with the Zoku Quick Pop Maker and some great edible gift ideas (biscotti in a french coffee press or homemade lemon curd)
  • And for the bakers, don’t miss our Festive Cake Icing Challenge running on Facebook (entries close 27 December)
Need gifts? We’ve got your back and offer free delivery anywhere in South Africa. From your biltong loving dad in Durban to your cupcake crazy sister-in-law in Springbok, get any kitchen gift you can think of delivered as easy as Christmas pie right to their door. Check out our Christmas gift guide (Father Christmas is busy, lend a hand).
In the spirit of Christmas, we thought it would only be fair to share some of the awesomeness with you and are giving away four R250 vouchers. To stand a chance to win simply post a comment and tell us what Yuppiechef gear you’d buy with your R250 voucher and what you’d make with it (have a browse.) On Friday 9 December we’ll put all the entries in the Mug of Destiny and pick our lucky winners.
