The 2009 Pixar movie, Up, is a favourite to children of all ages. And baby Eli is also a fan. His family says he is fascinated by the story of Carl Fredricksen, and what better way to celebrate the little man than to do a shoot inspired by this sweet tale. Photographer Carleigh from Sweet Poppy Studios managed to find a real life- tree atop a hill- like the place where the film characters, Carl and Ellie, would pass time watching clouds. It captured the whole essence of the movie, turning it from fiction to reality, and made the shoot even much more special! The theme perfectly complements Eli’s humorous and adventurous spirit. His mom says, “He is a fearless explorer, and is very interested in what the world around him has to offer.”

Every morning, I wake up to find Eli smiling at me. If I say “Good morning little one”, he finds it hilarious and giggles- a true, heartfelt giggle. It simply makes my day. His cheerful face, reminds me every single day, that he is sincerely the new and greatest adventure in my life!

Girly pink pony party

On the 1st of March, Milla was showered with love from friends and ponies alike. It was a special occasion to celebrate her 8th birthday and I can see in the sweetly happy smiles of the girls, the ponies (pink and real) were as much a part of the fun as the girls themselves. Although mother Theunette Heinlein has her own events company, she couldn’t have created the lovely day without Milla’s great love for horses and intuitive knack for matching vintage teal and pink. It gave the pony party a unique atmosphere that the girls adored.
