I'm a passionate creative who loves silk blouses, beautiful blooms and red velvet cupcakes. After running Lucky No. 9 design for 2 years I returned to my journalism roots and now I'm a fulltime writer and blogger. As a devoted Francophile I hope one day I'll be writing these posts from a little bit of heaven in La Ville-Lumière.

I'm a graphic designer obsessed with beautiful stationary, I only write with muji pens and love drinking tea out of my ever growing collection of vintage teacups. In September 2011 I opened Blankspace Gallery Shop in Cape Town where I create and sell limited edition artworks as well as letterpress stationary.

We are two friends who decided to do what we love (design) full time! Our work stretches from corporate desing to personal events stationary. Transforming the things around us into something beautiful, is what makes us happy!!

I’m a fashionista with a shoe fetish, an Internet sleuth and a beauty products fanatic. I love Africa, sunny blue skies, rustic food, cupcakes, berries, nail polishes and lace. A long run clears my head and my latest exercise addiction is Soul Cycle. In my spare time I love ambling along the streets of Manhattan with my I Phone and café au lait in hand. I can’t live without my husband and my weekly dose of reflexology.

I really love food. I love it so much that I want to be surrounded by it every day. That means eating it, dreaming up menu’s, shopping at markets, reading lovely food magazines, paging through my collection of recipe books, writing my blog and tweeting about my food adventures.
