Our real wedding story for this week, introduces Chris and Doerthe who met on an unexpected night out with friends where they ended up spending that very same evening sitting next to Geneva Lake, under the stars enjoying a bottle of wine and chatting until the early hours of the next day.

It’s real wedding Monday, and we happily bring you this refreshing Elgin wedding shot by Lauren Kriedemann. Eric and Lindsay tied the knot at one of my favourite venues, Old Mac Daddy, in Elgin. They also fell in love with the naturally beautiful setting with its exquisite views, greenery and light wood.
Today you are getting a double dose of the wonderful Tasha Seccombe’s work with this darling wedding. Johan and Anzel got married in December last year at Gabrielskloof in Botrivier. This Johannesburg couple wanted to have an intimate affair, and so they chose the tranquil surroundings of the Overberg to say their vows.
Even if you are not a shoe lover, you won’t be able to resist falling in love with the gorgeous bright red shoes featured in today’s real wedding. Bride Abigail opted for red heels with a big bow on each shoe, to go with her gorgeous knee length vintage wedding dress. She also went for more unconventional bridesmaids’ outfits, which we totally love by the way.
