When we feature real weddings, we occasionally have no need for words. With Dylan and Cherie’s very chic wedding at the Conservatory in Franschhoek and Lizelle Lotter behind the lens, it’s safe to say that this is one of those moments. The images describe the day better than any words could.

When two artists tie the knot, you know you’re in for something creative! When Danelle started planning their wedding with her husband-to-be, she wanted her wedding décor to be unique. She had seen so many weddings before and wanted something fresh and original on their big day, that reflected their creatives spirits.
Hope all of you are having a great 2013 so far! I am very excited about this year and have some really ‘pretty’ DIY’s planned for the pretty blog. I can’t help myself, I just had to contribute to the month of love, February is all about Valentine’s Day! We’re all very busy and have hectic schedules {so much to do; so little time}.
Leigh looked absolutely breathtaking in her vintage inspired peplum dress. Leigh says she always liked the idea of having long sleeves. We’re loving the lace detail, and of course the floral headband and ankle boots. Sadly, after dancing the night away, Leigh’s dress is now a bit of an ombre colour from bottom to top.
At the moment it’s the middle of the Summer and we are dying of the heat. But I just had to squeeze this delightful Winter wedding into this week’s schedule. I just love how Emile and Karla went all out Winter for their big day. They embraced the fact that they would say their wedding vows on a dreary day.
I recently worked on a table setting with Jeanel from Pebble & Lace. Today I am giving some of the design details as a free printable to all ‘The Pretty Blog’ readers… to create , make and add it to your wedding. If you love lots of detail and small pretty things, like me.
