I often get emails from brides asking me to help them with gift ideas for their grooms. And I have to say, coming up with ideas for someone you don’t know is not all that easy. But luckily we came across a wonderful online shop called Izola, suppliers of the nostalgically beautiful men’s gifts and products.
While I was busy planning my wedding I often wished for a bird’s eye view of all the shops in my area. I knew exactly what I was looking for, and that someone had to sell it, but finding it was a different story. In the past four 1/2 years since I started planning my wedding, the most wonderful, local online shops have popped up everywhere. Finding that special little something like the wooden letters or a headpiece is now so much easier. From the Heart Emporium is one of those online shops where you can find handpicked, handmade items and get them delivered to your door.
For the fourth installment of Kitchen Diaries, Yuppiechef continues to bring us the pearls of wisdom of some of our not-so-newly weds. This time we’re featuring Katie and Rob who you may recognize from their wedding which was featured on the Pretty Blog earlier this year. Katie is an avid baker and Rob is an excellent cook. Their beautiful kitchen is the heart of their home.
Christmas is around the corner, and we are very excited about the upcoming festive season. However, Christmas is also a time to turn your attention to those in need. This year The Pretty Blog team will be supporting Santa Shoebox. We are almost done with packing our boxes and they will be delivered next week.
Have you been following our Kitchen Diaries series collaboration with Yuppiechef? We call on the wisdom and experience of a few not-so-newly-weds and ask them which wedding registry gift they’ve loved the most. We started with Iaan and Christine making cherry frozen yoghurt in the Magimix Le Glacier Turbine Ice Cream Maker
