We have had a wonderful year at The Pretty Blog in 2012. As you’ve probably seen, we have grown in many ways. In the past year, we introduced more Lifestyle features, included more contributors and embarked on quite a few new adventures. As we take on new challenges and projects in 2013, we know that we will need more people to make all our dreams become a reality.

In July this year we made our way to London, no not for the Olympics but for our very first international Pretty Blog Wedding Session. We had the honour of chatting to 25 girls for a whole day about planning, organising and conceptualising their dream wedding.
The Pretty Blog recently celebrated her second birthday which is a dream come true for me. I’m a big dreamer and most people know it, but never could I imagine this project would grow so fast and so successfully. Yesterday I said a few words to all our contributors, over a light lunch at our spring party where we celebrated The Pretty Blog’s second birthday.
You will remember about three weeks ago we announced that we are looking for a new DIY contributor. The response was wonderful and we received so many entries!
Today The Pretty Blog is one year old! We will be celebrating this whole week, so stay tuned for some delicious daily giveaways!!
We had the priviledge to be involved with this year’s Design Indaba. Together with Bianca from The Printerie and Anelle from Seven Swans, our regular DIY contributors, we hosted two kids workshops at Design Indaba. Our aim was to show the kids how to be creative with somthing as simple as paper.
Some of you might have heard that we have been included in the top 10 wedding blogs of Australian wedding magazine, Complete Weddings.
