You all know at Seven Swans we just adore paper in every pretty form and colour – I carry 5 notebooks around between my 2 handbags, no jokes! And I am still always leaving notes and scraps everywhere! So for today’s DIY I have specially created little notecards in a variety of colours.
Even if you find changing a light bulb challenging, you can still try our DIY’s. They are not just easy, but also super cute and will add that personal touch to your big day.
Since the Absolute White Xmas Party last year, I have been inundated with requests for these funky rosettes. So today, for all our Pretty Blog readers I am going to share the “how to’s” of this really crafty project. These paper rosettes can easily replace the traditional Boutoniere or make for a really special finishing touch to a gift.
Scrabble tiles have been popping up all over the blogs in weddings recently and so today I’ve created a digital save the date inspired by this great game. To edit this digital design open the pdf in into a word document, create a text box over the bottom right corner and fill in your details.
Dearest Pretty Blog readers, today Seven Swans brings you a quick, easy, fun and slightly quirky gift idea. So often I just want to hand out a very small gesture of thanks or a quick “I love you”. As I totally LURVE chocolate and cannot imagine anyone else not loving it as much as I do, a nice big slab of this tasty treat is usually the first thing I grab. Problem is, food labels are hardly ever all that pretty and I almost always spend more time trying to dress it up than I really had time for.
As the world turns to London this Friday to watch Prince William wed Kate Middleton, we invite you to join in the celebrations by hosting your own Royal Wedding tea party. Simply download the projects below and you could be on your way to a truly royal affair.
Amy from Thank You Cards Shop contacted us a while ago after she saw us on Wedzu. She loves The Pretty Blog so much that she is giving away two free thank you cards, one in blue and one in mint green. How cool is that!
As the longweekends beckon, we have one more awesome and super special DIY for you before you get whisked away in a flurry of (hopefully) doing nothing! The fabulous Annari from Nelle Cakes has joined the DIY team to create a cute-as-a-button DIY which will be perfect for two lovebirds to share on an Autumn sunset picnic (to catch the last bit of sun before winter sets in?). Or use only one cupcake in a smaller jar and serve with your Easter meal. You can even use it as a wedding favour!
