Today we visit the “Paterson Barn”, as Craig and Jade Paterson’s friends refer to the young couple’s Houghton cottage. They’ve been renting the quaint little house from Jade’s father for the past 3½ years. The main house on the property is an old Herbert Baker house. It was built in 1900 and the Paterson’s cottage used to be the stable and cart house.
