At the end of last year my husband and I took the plunge and bought ourselves a proper coffee machine. There hasn’t been a day that I’ve regretted that choice, it has changed my life dramatically. I can now officially be labelled a coffee snob because nothing compares to bean-to-cup coffee.
I’ve never been that good at gift wrapping, I love decorating gifts, but the actual wrapping has never really been my strong suit. It’s reasonably easy when the gift is square or rectangular – but most of time it’s not. That’s why I simply love gift bags.

It’s such a cliché to say the year flew past, but seriously . . . feels like I’ve been on fast forward since June. I’ll be spending Christmas with my family in Newcastle and will be back for the new year in Langebaan.
