New Years Decor {DIY}

New Year’s is around the corner, and adding a little glam to your celebration with these DIY decorations is super easy. Just head to your nearest craft shop or scrapbooking shop and get your hands on lots of glitter and sparkly paper.

Also make sure your printer is all filled up with ink, because you are going to want to print these designs by Seven Swans.

 New Years Decor {DIY}

Glitter Pumps:

Stick a piece of masking tape over the toe of the pumps, leaving the very end exposed. Spray with spray adhesive and dust with glitter. Be sure to choose a pair of pumps with a smooth surface that the glue and glitter can easily stick to.

Starry Platter

Anelle picked up a melamine plate at Mr. Price Home  for R20 and decorated it, making small crosses with a gold coloured  permanent marker that she picked up at a scrapbooking shop.

Happy New Year Bunting:

Trace the letters on to glitter paper (available at scrapbooking shops), cut out with scissors, punch two small holes into each letter and string onto a piece of twine or ribbon.

I love anything to do with food {especially eating}, collecting pretty things, nesting, afternoon naps, reading and pinning. I am terrible at any kind of needle work, and I secretly envy those who can knit, sew and crochet. Freshly picked jasmin makes me happy. If I could choose my last meal on earth it, would be warm ciabatta bread with lashings of butter.
