We end the week with this uber romantic autumn soiree. The gorgeous Grants tied the knot on a warm windstill day in May this year.

Their big day was inspired by celebrity Model Kate Moss’ wedding, which is one of my all time favourites! Leigh-Anne said she loved the look of Kate Moss’ wedding the second she saw it, especially the massive garden where the portraits were taken. So when the couple discovered Langverwagt, they knew it would be the perfect place to create that ethereal look.

We think that Leigh-Anne and the team from Absolute Weddings & Events managed to recreate that dreamy feel. Everything was gorgeous, from the bridesmaids to the breathtaking decor. We love everything about this wedding! Thanks Leigh-Anne and Peter for giving us a peek at this happy occasion.

Tell us your love story?

Peter and I have been friends since 2008. Our romance started to blossom in the beginning of 2010, we were both single at the time, and we just fell in love. We had so much in common and it all just made sense.
In June 2010 Bash {Peter’s nickname} went to Japan to play rugby for 8 months, it was such an amazing test for our relationship. We skyped every single day for a hour and that made our relationship so strong. The following year I decided to go with him to Japan, and we were quite isolated there and we spend 24 hours a day with each other so it was the extreme opposite of the year before. In September 2011 Bash and I went to the island of Okinawa off the coast of Japan we stayed in an awesome little resort there, and that is where he popped the question. It was the two of us on our little balcony sitting and chatting and drinking wine and out of now where he was next to me with the most beautiful antique looking ring in his hand. Peter is my best friend and everyday I look at him and think how lucky I am.

What were the highlights of your wedding day?

Straight after our wedding day I could of mentioned specific highlights, like when I walked down the aisle and my future husband was waiting at the end, the look he had on his face, all the familiar faces in one place, the beautiful “almost lord of the rings” type setting that the dome of trees created, It felt unreal… Magical. When I think of my wedding now I get a 1000 little flashes that go through my mind and they all make me smile.

Any advice for brides-to-be?

My advice would be is get the best photographer you possible can. Give your photographer a list of EVERYTHING you want photographed don’t assume things that are important to you are important to them. Also get a great Videographer, I could not stress this more, they capture things you don’t see on the day.When you have a great videographer your wedding can never disappear in your memory. Last piece o advice is, don’t receive your wedding gown for the first time on the day of the wedding. It has to be finished at least a week before, so you can be sure you happy and its comfortable.

Looking back, is there anything you would have done differently?

I would definitely have bought my dress and not had it made. I would have given my photographers a list of what I thought was important.

Where did you get most of your ideas and inspiration from?

I got my inspiration from Kate Mosses wedding. From wedding blogs, The Pretty Blog being one of them. But also a lot from Pinterest.

What was the biggest obstacle you had to overcome while organising your dream wedding?

I had no obstacle’s. With the Absolute Events team there are just no obstacles, they make everything happen, and if something appears to be bothering you they sort it out immediately.

Any time saving or organising tips?

Get a wedding Planner, its the best investment I made. They know everyone in the business, and they get things done, plus they have ideas and opinions that not even Pinterest can offer you. They save you time and money and huge amounts of stress you just don’t need as a bride.

Any hints for other brides on how to keep your wedding budget friendly?

Tell yourself this everyday of planning your wedding… I am marrying the man of my dreams, my future husband and the MOST important part of my wedding day is ACTUALLY that commitment you are making to him and nothing else should really matter.

What song did you choose for your opening dance and why?

Bruce Springsteen- Tougher than the Rest. My husband is a massive Bruce Springsteen fan. But I actually chose the song, it just suits us, its just us. In Japan when we were alone we would put the song on after dinners and practice our wedding dance. It was so special.

What was the “theme” of your wedding, and why?

I got my inspiration from Kate Mosses wedding. I would say my theme was Kate Mosses wedding/ Secret Garden/ Midsummers night dream. I love the look of Kate Mosses wedding the second I saw it, it was very much me. The massive garden, her look. I do wish I bought my dress at Temperley in London then I think I would of been spot on.

How does your wedding reflect your personalities?

It was a complete reflection of our personalities. It was festive but with a different, it was fun, but with a old school touch.
This is quite a difficult question, I would say what you see you the photos are pretty much us.
