If you love books as much as I do, lending them out can sometimes be hard! In today’s DIY I’ve created a fun way to part with your beloved friends for a short while and keep track of who they are visiting with these fun personalised DIY Library Cards.

Step 1: What you need:
Budget: under R50
- Books
- A4 sheet of sturdy paper & a black & white printer
- Cutting blade, ruler, pen & pencil
- Double sided tape

Step 2: Print, cut, fold & glue
Print out the FREE DOWNLOADABLE TEMPLATE on your selected piece of sturdy paper or card. Cut along the solid lines & fold along the dotted lines. Attach double sided tape to the two little flaps and join these to the back of the library pocket.

Step 3: Insert in book
Once the library pocket and card is assembled, add some double sided tape to the back of the library pocket and insert in your selected book. Fill out your name on the front of the library pocket as well as on the card. Make sure to add the title of your book to the library card too!

Step 4: Share your books
You can make as many of these as you want for your personal library & share the love of books with your friends. :)

In the words of C.S. Lewis: “You can never get a cup of tea large enough or a book long enough to suit me.”
