Tomorrow is the is the 1st of November, or should I say Movember. And because we love and care about the men in our lives, we are happy to support this initiative. Movember is not just about having fun while growing a moustache. The facial hair we’ll be seeing next month is meant to raise awareness and funds for men’s health – specifically prostate and testicular cancer.
For the fourth installment of Kitchen Diaries, Yuppiechef continues to bring us the pearls of wisdom of some of our not-so-newly weds. My brother-in-law, Gerhard Compion, is the trout farmer on Lourensford Estate. I recently got involved in the family business by doing some marketing and distribution for his company, Lourensford Trout. If you don’t know what rainbow trout is, it is a fresh-water fish with beautifully pink flesh – very much the same taste and look as salmon.
The home of architect Eben Rall was sent to us by one of his good friends Marlé Smit. Marlé says even though she has always known that Eben had a great sense of style, she was still blown away when she walked into his new beach front apartment in Strand.
