Spring is my favourite season by far! I love the freshness in the air, and how everything seems to come alive after winter. I also celebrate my birthday in Spring, which means I can fill my home with ranunculus, sweet peas and blossoms! Fennec, owner of Fox & Co, is just as passionate about Spring as I am. To celebrate the new season, she created a beautiful table with Spring’s most delightful blooms.
Fennec says she can’t think of a more perfect time to tie the knot. “There is a general feeling of excitement in the air as the first few signs of Summer starts to appear. The birds seem to chirp louder, the bees seem to buzz more merrily”.
Fennec created a garden themed candy bar with this feeling of spring-induced excitement in mind. She wanted a table bursting with bright pops of floral colour, accented with rustic touches to add earthiness and texture. She didn’t want to tamper with the flowers too much, as she loves how they bend and sway naturally. Vintage watering cans and old bottles were used as vases and add an air of romance that echo the spring time sentiment that everything, no matter how old, gets a new lease on life at this time of year.
