Baby Mia’s Nursery {Room Tour}

So by now you know that every Tuesday we have a post dedicated to pretty homes or decor inspiration. But today we would like to showcase a room, a room filled to the brim with pretty things.  We give you a sneak peak at the nursery of Mia Coetzee. She is the baby girl of Jan and Jana Coetzee, dairy farmers from Durbanville. Claudia De Nobrega went to visit them on their farm Bon Mella.

Jana says they always loved the name Mia, which means means “long awaited gift from God”. And after the pain of two miscarraiges, they knew that their long awaited gift had to be called Mia.

Little Mia’s room is fit for a little princess. We just adore the beautiful wallpaper. Well, actually we love anything to do with blossoms. Jana says she found the wallpaper and then styled the room around it. She also made a mobile for the room that Mia loves to look at. A bunny theme was also incorporated as Jana loved bunnies when she was a little girl. And how fitting, seeing that Easter is just around the corner.

I love anything to do with food {especially eating}, collecting pretty things, nesting, afternoon naps, reading and pinning. I am terrible at any kind of needle work, and I secretly envy those who can knit, sew and crochet. Freshly picked jasmin makes me happy. If I could choose my last meal on earth it, would be warm ciabatta bread with lashings of butter.
