We end the week with this sweet backyard wedding of Will and his lovely wife Becky. The two tied the knot, at the groom’s parents’ house, last month. They wanted something laid-back, and the beautiful house has been a special place for Will’s extended family to come together over the years. It was a place where many of their guests already felt comfortable and at home.
It’s International Choose Glass Week and we are honouring the beauty, versatility and recyclability of glass by bringing you a DIY project that you can use in your home to get you pantry in order. Download our “from my pantry” labels here.
That famous 60′s film La Dolce Vita, by Fellini, has inspired many! Most famously here in South Africa those sexy Peroni ads. I love the famous Trevi fountain scene with the beautiful Sylvia and handsome journalist Marcello….. So you can imagine my excitement when our beloved Sam sent over this gorgeous La Dolce Vita inspired shoot (she did all the pretty stationery).
As much as I love flowers, using only fresh flowers for wedding decor is so 90′s! Incorporating other elements (that won’t die or wilt) are not only fun, but it also saves money and time. Like these paper goods designed by Keri Muller from Simple Intrigue. You can easily combine them with bright flowers for your wedding decor. The best part is that you can use it in your home afterwards!
I’m not really a horse person, but my goodness they make great props! I’m loving every single image of this styled shoot that Tyme Photography sent over. Dylan and Tamlyn, from Tyme, both love horses and wide open spaces. So when one of their favourite photographers did something similar, they decided to pull this beautiful shoot together.
I don’t really like Mondays, but our real weddings always seems to make my first day of the week a little sweeter. Just looking at fresh flowers, a beautiful gown and the love between two people makes me so happy. And today’s wedding is no exception.
Here, at Yuppiechef, we find that whilst plenty of grooms set up wedding registries on behalf of the bridal couple, the bride more often than not gets to take up this awesome job. The adrenaline rush of a having an entire online store full of kitchen delight and the chance to add all the things you’ve been hankering after for years can sometimes make it difficult to remember that you are setting up a registry for the two of you.
