  I grew up flicking through my parents’ wedding album, trying to imagine what it must have been like. I still do! I’ve always wanted the perfect wedding, but most of all, I’ve wanted beautiful photos that can tell the story for my kids one day. Ones that capture the real emotion of the day, all the people that were there that won’t be around forever.. I want a beautiful day, but I especially want photos that remind me of that day for years…
  Looking through the photos here, I can see that blf studios manages to capture the day in the most beautiful way – you can feel the connection between the couples, and all the emotions experienced on the biggest day of their lives..

  Hi blfStudios! I’m getting married on 10 March 2012 in the little picturesque town of Parys in the Free State to my best friend. How lucky am I?   Oh, what stunning photos!! I can sit the whole day & view photos on all my favourite sites – not always a good thing ;) I believe photos tell you so much not only about your day but about the people in it. It represents who you are, what you enjoy in life and how you choose to show this to the world. It is a storybook without words! Our house is full of photos rather than paintings. Wedding photos is there to look at & be reminded about little things of your day you may have missed or just forgot about (it’s the only thing that does not fade away from your special day). It represents how someone else see your wedding day & I strongly feel that its something a couple should invest in for their day. I have 3 couples of friends getting married in february & march & would absolutely LOVE to surprise one of them with such a gift ~ something they would never expect! Oh the look on their faces would be one to capture as well! The dates are 10 February at Meerendal, Durbanville ; 24 March (venue still to be confirmed but probably in gauteng area) & 31 March in Potchefstroom (north west province).

  my date is 5th may 2013 but for this prize i will def move it up to may 2012:) my venue is in clovelley in cape town. the reason i want this prize is that my fiance and i are paying for our own wedding on a budget of R20 000 (that includes venue,catering,my dress and my grooms suit…the whole shabang)
  so a photographer or wedding album seems like a distant luxury. we were planning on just getting a few friends in the family which normal cameras to take pics for us and hope for the best. as a girl ive always dreamed of having a fairy tale wedding but in the real world fairy tales cost money. i search through the pretty blog daily looking for cheap alternates for wedding diy wedding dacor ideas. you guys have helped me plan what i think (even on a R20 000 budget) will be a dream wedding. please help me make my memories special.

  When we got engaged all my original ideas about our wedding went out the door. I realised we have ONE day to incorporate all our ideas. We started from scratch, because we want our day to be PERFECT. We KNOW with this prize we will be well on our way to achieving it.

  I always knew weddings were expensive, but when I started looking around for photographers, i was SHOCKED! This prize will give us the oppertunity to add all the smaller details we want to make our day EXCEPTIONAL!

  Our entire wedding has been planned on the strictest of budgets. I keep looking at these incredible pictures and hoping and praying we will have something similiar to look at after our special day. We are getting married on the 5th of November 2011 in a friend’s home in Bishop’s Court. I imagine pictures of our ( very sunshiney day) garden wedding.. butterflies, lavender, all our favourite 55 people – and as it fades into the night sparkers and fairy lights come out to play. Two little flower girls dancing in the moonlight.. and romantic slow dances. I would love a special photographer to capture these moments.. I am smiling just thinking about it!!! :)

  Ryan and I started out as best friends who swore that “we’d never get married”. That was about five years ago…and it’s been an uphill battle since then. Not because we weren’t meant for each other – because we definitely are – but because it takes hard work to make relationships work, something many people don’t realise these days.

  I’ve looked at a lot of photographs since we became engaged in March this year, but yours are the first that depict that underlying message. The contrast between the beautiful bride/ wedding dress/loving couple and the backgrounds, colours and scenarios you’ve matched to it create the perfect depiction of what a marriage symbolises…of what relationships are all about.   ah these pics are beautiful! we are getting married in the eastern cape in on the 16th march 2012! we are on a tight pbudget so iv had to cut out my “dream ” photographer so far but this would make it perfect! we would def pay for flights etc! :)
