I Thee Travel {Honeymoon}

All couples will have to decide about  gifts early on in the wedding planning process. Do you add a gift registry, should you ask for money or should you just hope you get presents you like?

The other dilemma many couples have is that they already have all the furniture they need. Many South Africans live abroad but they come back here to get married, the problem is that it’s difficult to take their gifts back with them.

If you find yourself in a similar situation, then you should head over to I Thee Travel. By planning your honeymoon through I Thee Travel, your guests can give money towards your dream holiday as a gift. So instead of  compiling a regular gift registry, you get a honeymoon registry. Which means no birdcages with envelopes, no surprises and no cash deposit fees :)

So this is how it works:

1. You choose your honeymoon package. Destinations include Zanzibar, Mosambique, Maldives and Bali, to name a few.

2. Your registry is created.

3. Your guests receive an email and they give online.

Easy peasy!

I love anything to do with food {especially eating}, collecting pretty things, nesting, afternoon naps, reading and pinning. I am terrible at any kind of needle work, and I secretly envy those who can knit, sew and crochet. Freshly picked jasmin makes me happy. If I could choose my last meal on earth it, would be warm ciabatta bread with lashings of butter.

    Such a cool idea. Just a pity I’m already married.

    A honeymoon registry is such a great idea! We had one for our honeymoon & we got to travel to India (our dream) thanks to our wonderful guests … highly recommended!

    Hello. I came across this website while looking for honeymoon registries, and they have some specials that seem too good to be true. I am a bit wary of using them, especially since they do not provide a contact number (or email address even), or physical address. Do you have any more information on this company for me, or know of anybody who has successfully used them in the past?
