Wow, I know it is not just me, this year has whizzed past and suddenly we find the silly season on our doorsteps! And what better way to welcome Christmas this year, than to create your very own advent calendar?

Since we will be celebrating our very first Christmas as a married couple, we are definitely looking at sprucing up our little home with a brand new Christmas tree (oh my gosh, have you seen these on Koopdesign?). But I wanted to add something just a bit more personal than that (afterall, Christmas is all about love, isn’t it?), so Dirk and I will be writing each other 25 notes – 1 for each day of the advent – and pin them up onto our calendar to read every day. I can only imagine the silly jokes Dirk would have written! :)

Use the notes to add special quotes or song lyrics, tell the person you love 25 different things you appreciate them for, or even use it to give clues for an epic 25 day treasure hunt for their Christmas present!
