Today’s real wedding is truly unique! I have never seen a wedding in a stable before. Wynand and Sonja made their big day an intimate and very personal affair. Sonja decided to do away with tradition and Wynand even saw her before the wedding! She was such a relaxed bride, and when it came to planning her wedding, the only thing she wanted was to include her beloved horse Adam.

We start this week with another great giveaway. This time from Lady Peculiar, one of our favourite Jewelery shops in Stellenbosch. We are not just saying that, we really love their unique pieces. I own a beautiful pair of Lady Peculiar protea earrings, and Iaan used one of their “trouvrou” rings to ask Christine to marry him!
We end the week with this very special real wedding. Or should I say extra special, because all our real weddings are special:). It’s the wedding of Welovepictures, yup OF Welovepictures. It’s not a typo. This time they were on the other side of the camera.
With many year end functions and Christmas parties already underway, I thought it was about time I shared this little project I’ve been working on. Inspired by Kate Spade’s Fiona shoes that came out last Christmas (brightly coloured pumps adorned with a present style bow) and the latest series of Ban.Do shoe clips, I turned my plain suede pumps into something a little more festive!

We kick off our new series “interview with an expert” with this passionate wedding planner. Wow, I know it is not just me, this year has whizzed past and suddenly we find the silly season on our doorsteps! And what better way to welcome Christmas this year, than to create your very own advent calendar?
I have to admit I am a bit over excited about today’s post. Firstly, because it is one of the most creative e-sessions I have seen in a long time, secondly because the handsome couple are very dear friends of mine, and finally because it is such a true reflection of their spirited personalities. So it came as no surprise that these two created this fun e-session, as they are both very talented.
