Wedding planning can be a tricky task and it is for this reason we often call on our closest friends to help make the big day just that little bit smoother. As the important women in your life help you through your engagement, why not thank them with a selection of gifts – all handpicked by you.
We recently discovered these gorgeous prints by Lola’s Room. These pictures are, as they describe it, “sweet and nostalgic” and you can order them in all shapes and sizes on Etsy. They ship worldwide! Lola’s Room also have the cutest calenders, postcards and badges available.
Iaan and I are both in love with design, beautiful things and quirky ideas. Even before we got engaged we always sent each other pictures of things we like. One day Iaan send over a brilliantly awesome invitation! It was designed by the groom himself, Matt Dorfman. The invitation was the story of the couple, Matt & Gill. Iaan and I saved the image. Then when we got engaged, we started looking around for some cool ideas for invitations, but never saw anything as perfect as Matt’s invite. We decided to take some inspiration from his design and tell our own story (since we have a 8 years, 1 month and 29 days’ long story to tell, we couldn’t just send out a normal invite :)
We just love this festive tea table created by Vintage Rose, with the beautiful stationary designed by Paper Garden. It’s all about feminine elegance and vintage touches and you can get loads of inspiration from these images. The vintage and pink theme is perfect for a bridal shower. Treat the bride-to-be with a pretty and fun tea with friends before her big day.
We just love the pretty packaging of the Suikerbossie Cap Classique Brut by Boer and Brit, and in the spirit of Heritage Day we thought we would share this proudly South African wine with you. Boer and Brit wines are made by The Boer, Stefan Gerber a direct descendant of president Paul Kruger, and The Brit Alexander Milner, a descendant of famous general Field Marshall French. Their forefathers were bitter enemies during the Anglo-Boer War. But now, 116 years later, they’re making wines together as best friends.
